These serene paths are perfect for unwinding and getting a feel for the natural beauty that surrounds you.
For dinner, you have plenty of options. Cook up something hearty at your pitch (be sure to check out our camping meal ideas for inspiration), or treat yourselves to the weekly chip van that stops at the site - a campsite favourite for an easy, delicious meal.
Saturday: Discover Sandringham on Foot
Fuel up with a leisurely breakfast before heading straight into the Sandringham children’s play area, accessible on foot from the campsite. The 30-minute walk is a delightful journey through woodland trails to one of the best playparks in Norfolk! With climbing frames and slides, it’s a hit with younger visitors. The estate’s well-maintained trails make it easy for families to explore and they are pushchair-friendly for younger adventurers. Visit the Sandringham Visitor Centre to learn about the estate’s history. For lunch, treat yourselves to a meal at the Sandringham Restaurant, where delicious, locally sourced dishes are served, with plenty of child-friendly options. Alternatively, pack a picnic and enjoy the serene surroundings of the estate's extensive grounds.
Keep an eye out for seasonal events on the estate, such as the magical Luminate Light Trail, which transforms the grounds into a breathtaking festive wonderland. For more Christmas inspiration, check out our blog post, 5 Magical Campervan Getaways for Christmas and New Year.
